The International Association of Speakers Bureaus (IASB) is the trade association for speakers bureaus, lecture agencies and speaker management companies that are primarily representing the lecture interests of paid professional speakers, trainers and celebrities around the world.


Membership is available to companies and individuals (entities) that meet the specified criteria:

Any company or individual whose primary business is booking, representing and/or managing speakers or presenters.  


The entity must have annual revenue that is a minimum of 51% from the afore referenced activities or if entity is a division of another company, the division must produce a minimum annually of $1,000,000 (USD or equivalent) from the afore referenced activities. 



IASB is a 501(c)6 non-profit tax-exempt organization located in the United States; however, membership is available to companies and individuals located anywhere in the world.  Membership dues are not considered charitable contributions for IRS purposes but may be tax-deductible‚ please consult with your tax advisor or local taxing authority.


Ready to Apply?

Please download the application and submit the requested items along with the application fee.  The application process takes approximately 60 days.  

Please refer to the application for information on the requested documentation which includes:

  • Proof of Existence: For companies this may be a copy of incorporation papers or a business license (if a division or DBA, please provide related documents showing relationship).  For individuals this may be a copy of a state or government issued identification card.
  • References: Reference statments from at least 3 speakers the entity has booked, represented or managed within the past year and 3 buyers or IASB members worked with in the past year (may be in the form of an email).
