IASB has a variety of opportunities for members to get involved and assist with the work of the association. In addition to the Standing Committees there are several committees and workgroups that work within the Strategic Framework to carry out the goals and objectives identified by the Board of Governors.

Who is Eligible?

Owners and Employees of IASB Members are eligible to serve as a volunteer on a committee or workgroup.  Some positions have other eligibility requirements, please refer to the Committee Guidelines or contact the IASB EVP for more information.

What's Involved?

There are a variety of ways to get involved but for the most part, Committee Members are appointed for 1 year terms which are renewable.  Committees typically meet regularly via teleconference to accomplish their work.  Workgroups are formed to carry out a specific task or project on a short-term basis.  Workgroups are usually announced to Members via the Member Communications - they are not listed here - please contact the IASB EVP to find out what is currently available.  Descriptions for the Committees are listed below - for additional information, please contact the Chair or the IASB EVP for more info.
