Packaging & Leveraging Your Knowledge And Expertise To Win Greater Market Share
Two major challenges face the bureau industry right now. Technology and the onslaught of platforms for meeting planners to find, qualify and contact speakers and experts. The second is that the economic environment has lead to an erosion of the quantity and quality of many of the traditional relationships bureaus rely on for business. These two trends are amplifying the need for bureaus to understand, articulate and justify the value they bring to the meeting planner. The good news... these very same trends have been occurring in multiple industries and how to respond profitably is the subject of a 24 month research project at ChangeLabs. Based on hundreds of interviews and thousands of literature reviews, plus an additional round of interviews with bureau agents and owners, ChangeLabs CEO Peter Sheahan will present the first ever session on the research findings, creating an opportunity to explore how bureaus can leverage these insights to literally compel the buyer to partner with them for all their speaker needs. Future Point of View founding partner, Scott Klososky will then help attendees blend Peters ideas and findings into practical delivery methods using new technology tools. The combination of real client needs, and the new technology channels for delivering these, will be game changing for the bureaus that participate in this session.
Scott Klososky, a former CEO of three successful startup companies, specializes in seeing beyond the horizon of how technology is changing the world. Scott’s vision and ability to see trends in emerging technologies allow him to be a thought leader who applies his skills to help organizations thrive, leaders prosper, and entire industries move forward. As a technology entrepreneur, he continually works in the trenches of building his own companies. His unique perspectives on technology, business culture, and the future allow him to travel the globe as an international speaker, consultant, and author, working with senior executives in organizations ranging from Fortune 500 corporations.  PRESENTED BY SPEAKERSOFFICE
