What is a the IASB Speaker Directory?
New speakers want to know how to reach out to bureaus for the first time, what information to send and in what format. Seasoned pros want to know how to continually stay in touch with their favorite bureaus, how to re-connect with bureaus they have not worked with in a while or start new relationships. They also face the time consuming challenge of policing web sites to ensure the accuracy of their information, especially the all important streaming video.

IASB member bureaus are notified when speakers update their profile, so that they can keep their websites and records up to date. Bureaus also use the Directory to search for new talent and find contact information for presenters.
How does it work?
Once you activate your listing, you'll receive a username and password. Use these to fill out a simple online form. The information you enter will be compiled into your Directory Listing.
Come back and update your profile anytime you have a new photo, new information for you bio, new fees...anything. There's no charge to udpate as often as you like.
An important element of the Directory is the permissions section for presenters. It gives you a chance to indicate whether speaker bureaus and agencies have your permission to use your profile information on their websites, in proposals, and in Internet marketing. Your Directory listing gives you control of how your marketing profile is used.
How do I get mine?
Use the link near the top of the screen to activate your listing in the Directory. Within minutes you'll receive your username and password. Login, and fill out your online profile using the simple form. There is a one-time charge of $49.00 to activate your listing.
For extra selling power, you can upgrade your account to include streaming video and other multimedia content (we recommend your onesheet as a PDF, several testimonial letters, and a few photos for starters).
Bureau Terms and Conditions
The IASB Speaker Directory serves as the official source for current speaker information. When a speaker is listed in the IASB Speaker Directory, it is the speaker’s responsibility to maintain current information in the directory. It is the bureau’s responsibility to quote accurate information, as found in the directory, for any speaker that is listed in the directory. The speaker agrees to honor the quoted fee or information found in the directory and therefore, the bureau may assume the information, at any given time, is accurate. What appears in the IASB Speaker Directory is regarded as "official."
