The maintenance of the marketplace's confidence in the professionalism, honesty, ability and integrity of the speaker bureau industry is primary to the success of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus. The IASB Standards of Professional Conduct was developed to serve as a guide. As a condition of membership, IASB Members must subscribe to the principles outlined in the standards at the time of initial application and upon annual renewal of their membership.
The IASB Standards of Professional Conduct applies only to current IASB members. If you consider a member of IASB is in violation of the Standards, one of your options is to file a complaint with IASB.
Violations shall be determined in accordance with the by-laws, policies and procedures of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus. Prescribed disciplinary action shall be in accordance with the by-laws, rules and regulations established by IASB. Any disciplinary action instituted by IASB shall be binding and final upon the IASB member and without recourse to the Association, its officers, members, staff or contracted vendors.
